This is a creative demonstration of how you can involve students who may be camera shy. Through the use of dolls or puppets you can assess whether students understand the reading strategies they are learning. Really terrific camera work-over the shoulder with reader and with dolls. It struck me also how students can easily partner up to do a reading from which you get valuable feedback on fluency, articulation, pacing, prosody-fun for students, useful for teacher! You've given me ideas for my own reading classroom-thank you.

Great video you did a very good job with the dolls and the transitions were good, the music was a very good choice it was soft as if it were a breeze. Job well done!

I liked that you showed how to read...parents should see this....sounds were in balance...the shots of the book were a bit shaky and did not fill the whole screen...all in all good vid.

This would work really well with younger students, great acting and use of the dolls. You did a good job on the transitions. Great job

Great video Elizabeth.  I will be sending your peer review a bit later.  I love the dolls and the voices of the children.  You had very nice transitions too.

That was a really cute video! I liked the music-it was very soothing...you had good transitions and the girls' voices were nice and clear.  This is a good idea for teaching reading strategies :)
