Learning to Use Technology in the Classroom

I would like to formally study educational technology through a Canadian on-line course however not too many of these exist. The great irony is that I e-mailed the director of one program and haven't heard back after a month. On-line, hu?

Hi Shayne -- there are a few Canadian programs but they tend to be aimed more at people who want to be in IT rather than in the classroom. I'm going to take a Masters in Instructional Media through Wilkes. There are 3 other Canadians in Saksachewan taking this degree that I know of and there may be more. If you get in touch with the people at Wilkes, please mention that Sue Hellman suggested this to you.

Meanwhile, I'd like to invite you to join a Classroom 2.0 group called Canadians Mashup. I'm trying to build a network of Canadian educators and bloggers. No discussions yet. I'm just starting out by trying to find where everyone lives and what they teach. If you're interested, please add me as a colleague as well.
