I am a visual artist and I am particularly interested in the intersections of the read/write web with art and design education at BA and MA levels.
I teach at the London South Bank University in the BA (Hons) Digital Photography. This semester I am in charge of Photographic Cultures, a unit that explores the relationship between digital press and photo publishing, and we're studying the use of facebook, blackboard and lulu.com as social publishing network platforms for teaching and learning.
We are concurrently working in partnership with Leicester University's Moose exploring the concepts and tools of photographic representation researching sub-cultures in Second Life.
I also teach theory in the MA in Art and Media Practice at the University of Westminster where we went through the fascinating process of revalidating the module Thinking Practices to include blogging as part of marked theoretical work! The Fall 08 seminars are just starting and we are blogging at
