Greg Noack replied to Linda Jones's discussion 'Using Twitter in Education'
Tweet Homework assignments, classroom events, Classroom successes (make sure you have permission before using student names), have students tweet recall answers, exit polling, informal assessment, microblog a story... depends on what you want them…

Greg Noack replied to Glenn Hubbard's discussion 'Wikispaces doesn't have an undo button!'
Try "open apple z" or control z on a PC(I think).. standard undo shortcut on almost all apps.

Hi Greg,

With your work in Technology for your elementary students, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service. Here’s a public class recording conducted by Nellie Deutsch on Technology Integration.

Hi Greg. I was wondering if your students would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. If not, perhaps you have some other educator contacts you could direct me to. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!

ps- like you I am just about to move into a Edtech post. We should bounce ideas off of each others, and frustrations.

SO, does that mean you are going to add to the google presentation. My students loved collaborating and its in real time, has real impact. Hope to see your comments on the presentation.

I have been teaching math for 15 years, and frankly, I'm ready for a change. Sounds like you have the job I'm interested in now. I would be interested in knowing how it goes for you. Good luck.

Hiya Greg! Welcome to Classroom 2.0. I teach 5th grade and my co-teacher and I would love to connect with other 5th grade teachers around the world through technology such as e-pals, blogging, skyping, etc. Keep in touch.

Hi Greg
I am a sixth grade teacher.
Sounds like you have an exciting year ahead of you.
You should join the Elementary Tech Group here at Class 2.0 and share some ideas and steal some, too.
Kevin
