Over the Shoulder Miscue Analysis

Is anyone out there using miscue analysis as a primary means of assessing reading? In my class we have an agreement to honor student's miscues as windows into the mind and the reading process. About Me
Over the last five years I have taught 3 years of Kindergarten, a 2nd/3rd combination class, and a straight 3rd grade class. I have recently graduated from Sonoma State University with a Masters Degree in Teaching Reading and Language, and I received my Reading Specialist Credential as well.
One of my ambitions is to better integrate technology into the classroom. Photoshop is my hobby, and I have used PowerPoint to create classroom ebooks about our field trips. I've also used Premiere Elements to create a echo reading of a Language Experience Approach story created by my students. I'm looking for more ways to integrate technology as a means of helping my second language learners and their families to become more proficient readers in their primary and secondary languages.

Hi David. I was wondering if you have any high school contacts who would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!
