Hi Dan,
This is a quiet enough group, that if you don't get the information you need here please let me know and I can send you some email contacts for districts that have rolled out Haiku LMS. We have an alternative, private users group for…
Hi Vidya,
We can take a look for you. If you could provide us the names of students who do not see the events and the class where this is happening we can investigate further. Please create a ticket on http://support.haikulearning.com so you can…
HI Vidya,
With version 4, due out in two weeks, it is possible to maintain several sections within one roster. Each section shares Pages, but can have different calendar events and assignments, discussions, dropbox listings and even gradebooks. :)
I haven't seen the previous versions but the video does a good job of introducing the basic functionality and features in a simple, easy to understand manner. However, the narrator nearly put me to sleep; no offense, but it was the archetypal…
This is a fantastic use case...and there are examples of newsletters in use now..but teacher newsletters instead of student publications...however the history and moderation features for student pages are just around the corner. Keep your eyes…
Hi Marcia,
My recommendation (if the site is unblocked at your school and there is no copyright or privacy issues) would be to utilize a safe-for-students service like TeacherTube.com to post the video (use Embed the Web to embed it in Haiku).…
Agreed...printing out missing items in red is an excellent feature, as well as the quick fill. The Quick Fill is already in our queue for this summer, but I'll make note of these others.

I am one of the founders and member of the design team at Haiku Learning Systems. We have created a Web 2.0 Learning Management System that we think is quite exciting. :)
In my other lives I direct (and occasionally teach) theater and film, and love working outdoors with my partner and our two children.

With your work in Education Technology, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service. Here’s a public class recording you might find of interest.
Yeah, I actually just posted on the other site about that. Could you send them to me at cdsitter@yahoo.com
Thanks. I've run into a wall of apathy about getting sites up and running, however, we have an in-service the first week of March, and I'm hoping to get some time in front of the whole staff to show them what Haiku can do. Do you have any stats on districts using the system, contact info to connect with them, etc. Thanks
Hi Bryan. I was wondering if you have any high school contacts who would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!

Hi there - I can most certainly supply you with some examples - I just need to find a means to let you see them most effectively as most are embedded within my Moodle VLE.
