Personal Profile and Present Assignment

PRESENT ASSIGNMENT: After retiring as Deputy Director, D.A.V. College Managing Committee ( N.G.O. managing more than one thousand reputed Educational Institutions in various parts of the Country) I am working on a project for nurturing Human Excellence through education by offering consultancy services to the Educational Institutions & Students in the following fields
• Opening of new Schools on progressive school lines through innovative ideas, latest technology, impressive and most economical infrastructure including Architectural Drawings / Constructions & Interiors of School premises.
• Preparing the Project Report for opening of new School with special reference to its financial & general viability.
• Getting essentiality certificate, recognition from the Directorate of Education, Delhi, affiliation with the Central Board of Secondary Education or State Board or ICSC Board or any other Board.
• Effective functioning & administration of Schools.
• Development of Globally competitive curriculum & School calendar to keep the students abreast of the current knowledge.
• Skill empowerment to the School Principals & Managers through Disaster Management Course.
• In-service- programmes for professional growth of School Staff.
• Financial professionalism with optimum utilization of available resources through In-Service programmes.
• Examination reforms for greater validity & reliability.
• Counseling of the Students through on-line service.

• ADMINISTRATOR: Worked as Principal for a period of about 13 years. (June 1982 to March 1995)

- Legal issues of the Educational Institutions- Affiliation & Up gradation of Schools with C.B.S.E / State Boards / ICSC Board.
- Dealing with different issues pertaining to P.F, Gratuity, Leave Encashment, Financial viability of Public Schools
- Compilation of Performance Analysis of C.B.S.E Examinations of D.A.V. Public Schools
- Compilation of Annual Report of The D.A.V. College Managing Committee.

• I have co - authored a series of books with title “Systematic Mathematics” for Primary classes published by M/S Sultan Chand & Sons Pvt. Ltd. The Royal Government of Bhutan has prescribed this series for its Primary Students. Its Indian edition is very popular in Progressive Schools of India.
• A book on Functional Mathematics for Senior Secondary Classes of C.B.S.E. published by M/S Blue Bird Publishers.
• Mathematics books for classes VI to VIII with new syllabus have been published by M/S Arya Book Depot.
• Publication of “Laboratory Manual” for classes IX and X is under process for publication with M/S Mohit Publishers”.
• Publication of Activity Books (Mathematics ) for Pre – Primary and Primary classes is also under process.

RADIO TALKS
• Actively participated in numerous talk shows on All India Radio, Delhi & Rohtak, for Revision Lectures on Mathematics for Higher Secondary & Senior Secondary Classes of C.B.S.E. & on topics of general nature

VISITS IN THE COUNTRY AND ABROAD
• Visited various parts of India for inspecting & guiding the Educational Institutions and Europe & Toronto for Interacting with the Counter Parts to bring about innovative changes in the Educational System of D.A.V. Public / Model Schools of D.A.V. College Managing Committee.
