We have some funds available to purchase software for claymation and general movie making. One of the students suggested "ULead" by Corel. Has anyone had any experience with that program? June

Have you considered Blender. It's free and pretty powerful.

Improving forum use by pupils

I've implemented forums for our Year 6 class but I'm not really satisfied with how it is going. Are there any good resources around which run through the do's and don'ts of using forums for younger children (ages 10-12) and/or walk a teacher through creating a better forum experience?ThanksSee More

I've used Showbiz and Pinnacle with my middle school kids when doing claymation. These have a nice video clip management system and some nifty effects they really enjoy (green screen, etc..) Stikfast kits I've heard are fun too, but I…

Windows Movie Maker and iMovie...

I'm getting pretty fed up with these two programs. Isn't there anything better?? I'm not concerned about the time it takes, it helps my pupils better appreciate the efforts which go into Stop Action animation. But surely there is a more fluid, better system. Isn't there? If anyone knows of a better program let me know! Thanks!WSee More
