I have 33 computers in a lab situation. I use a blog to assign work and for students to turn in work. We are not allowed to use music or videos so many of our assignments are traditional in methodology. Students work on keyboarding and spreadsheets…

- I've taught 7th and now 6th grade for a total of 12 years in Cary, North Carolina. Ironically, although we're next to Research Triangle Park and many of my parents are tech people, I am one of the leaders in technology in my school. That is very sad, as I do very little. It is a matter of curriculum and testing - blogs and wikis and podcasts are tested so they are put on the back burner. Our computer classes pass the state competency test, though :-/ !
