What would be your top tools for low-bandwidth scenarios?

I work with remote communities in Australia where decent connections are hard to come by. There are some great tools out there, but a whole class accessing complex, Flash-heavy sites or powerful web-apps doesn't work.I'd love to know what your favourite "low-fi" sites for primary students are? See More

HI Tracy, fello Aussie!

I am one of the co-moderators at the Australia Series in LearnCentral. Steve Hargadon thought it would be good for us to meet.

We run several series for Australian Educators in the Australia Series group at LearnCentral and invite you to come along if interested. Check our blog for upcoming events at: http://australiaseries.wordpress.com

Perhaps you'd like to present for us on eT@lking one week - this one is scheduled for an 8 pm Sydney time on each Wednesday.

Regards

Carole
