My Moodle Project!

"Your Moodle site looks like a great opportunity for your kids to learn in a fun way. As an online teacher myself, I know how much work you have put into it. Congrats! May I share with you, however, that the music you used for your movie, IMHO, is…"

About Me
I am now retired from public school teaching. I was a full-time elementary school technology specialist for 23 years in the Bethel School District, Spanaway, WA. I am also a ham radio operator, but my technology passions were forever changed the first time I sat in front of a huge, unbelievably heavy Kaypro computer (which looked like a WWII ammunition box) on a cold, rainy morning the day after Thanksgiving, 1983. As a classroom teacher who was always generating paperwork for my students, I was astounded at the ability to be able to create a document, edit out my mistakes WITHOUT WHITE-OUT, and print out a perfect copy of the document. My life was never the same again. By 1985 I was a full-time technology geek, both professionally and avocationally.

I now teach teens and adults how to study the Bible inductively and continue to seek ways to use technology / Web 2.0 to that end. Classroom 2.0 is a wonderful way to keep up with the latest classroom (both B&M and online) methods. Keep up the good work, Steve et al!
