About Me
My presence here came from my membership of the (mainly British) Linguanet forum, which I'd just been reminding that there are only 24 hours in a day, so I can't nod in for long or I'd be a hypocrite!

If anyone is wondering about the candle it's because I support Amnesty International and because photographs are deceptive unless unflattering. There is one of the latter on www.English-in-Germany.eu

I teach (mainly adults incl. students at the Technische Universität Ilmenau) but I also translate and deadlines are always tight.

I like the idea of the candle. You notice with my picture, I use art to change the fact that I'm visually unpleasant into a pop art experience. Have a great summer and I hope to hear or read your thoughts and ideas in the future!
