Tech guy by training, K-5 computer teacher by serendipity. Currently in my 6th year teaching 850 kids weekly.

Teach Typing, Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Moviemaker, Photostory, Photofiltre, Image editing, Internet, Webcams, digital video cams, etc.

Integrate the above with themes related to writing, journeys, weather, science, social studies, city wildlife, dinosaurs, biographies, lifecycle, and whatever else I can do to leverage technology to enhance learning.

Setup and configure my lab with XP pro desktops and Windows server 2003 so that kids can have their own home directories for their files.

Use an Open Source Php webserver for our intranet to create web galleries, video galleries,, online quizzes and link lists to websites.

Use Open Source lab management program to wake, logoff, shutdown, blank screens and restart lab computers.

Bachelors Degree in Lan/ Wan networking.
Microsoft Certified Professional.
Comptia A+ certified IT tech,
Comptia Network + certified.
Apple Certified Professional OS X Leopard.
Masters Degree in Ed Tech. In Progress.
