Hi Sharon - Well you're not doing anything any differently than the rest of us in terms of training - the beauty of Web 2.0 is that it is extremely user-friendly - and you can self-teach everything! I'm shocked that you have no technology…

Dont know if these will help or not, but here are a few user guides/walkthroughs for some popular Web 2.0 tools that I have written. They may be of use to you in getting started with some new tools. How to Use Glogster EDU Creating a Website with…

Such a great idea, thank you! One of my teaching partners received a surprise visit from Office Max this year, the link is to the video of her getting all of the "goodies"!

About Me
I teach 4th grade, have also taught 1st and 2nd grades. In 2000 I was certified as a NB teacher (ED/Gen) and am very proud of this distinction. I feel a great sense of frustration and disappointment in the lack of financial support for NB teachers, especially now in the state of Ohio. This leads me to being unable to recertify because of the financial cost with not financial support or incentive - too bad.
I am very proud to be a winner of the Presidential Award of Excellence in Math and Science teaching in 2008, I won for Math. My trip to Washington in January 2009 was a once in a lifetime trip and being invited to the White House was an honor I will never forget!
