This video covers all areas, but it's interesting to think how much technology and the tools we use to teach have progressed in this time period as well.Anyway, here's the link:…See More

Hey Sean, sorry it's taken me so long, it's been a crazy week! As far as what I do, I go into each science teachers class for one period during the day, typically their lowest level learners or the ones with behavior issues. My position is fairly new to this school so it's kind of trial and error. Most of the time I offer one on one assistance to the kiddos, we also have a program called power science in which the kids are offered additional help and instruction. Right now we are going over lessons from the beginning of the year, trying to recover some information with them since we have the TAKS test coming up here in April. I am more involved with 7th grade than with the others. I help plan the lessons and look over them to see what can be adjusted for our Sped and modified kids. Sometimes they need larger font, important vocabulary added, reduced assignments so I try to adjust those as much as possible.

Like I said it's trial and error at this point. I'm like you, any ideas are helpful and more than welcome.
