- I retired two years ago from my job as Reading Specialist. I taught for 35 years spending the majority of my time teaching first grade and reading to primary children. Presently I work 3 1/2 hours a day tutoring Title 1 Reading for first thru third grade. I also teach professional development classes for teachers.
