About Me

Hi my name is Ron Burgin. I attended Pleasant Gardens Elementary School, West Jr. High School and McDowell High School. I attended Warren Wilson College, where I majored in Business Administration and Intercultural Studies. I have attended the University of Madrid as well. I got my degree in Spanish and Education from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. I have been teaching Spanish in McDowell County Schools for 23 years. I teach Spanish I and II here at East Jr. High. I also supervise the exchange students here in McDowell County. I am dedicated to international education, language study and exchange.
