- I have been teaching for 29 years--mostly 5th grade--although I have taught Kindergarten for a year, sixth grade for several years and science ed at a university for a year, as well as being a math coach for a year. My district is moving sixth grade to the MS next year, so I've volunteered to be part of that team and teach science and math. I'm lookin forward to concentrating on just two subjects.
