Native to Seattle, Washington, Rebecca is both co-founder of and the International Program Director at El Nomad Immersion Programs. With her Masters of Business and International Studies from the University of Sydney, and her B.A. in International Studies and Spanish from Queens University of Charlotte, Rebecca’s experience in the international education field dates back more than 10 years. She has held a variety of positions ranging from faculty-led program director to university professor. She has studied and lived in Ecuador, Argentina, and the United States, and has traveled extensively throughout Southeast Asia, Central and South America, and Europe. In doing so, she has developed a vast network of relationships around the world, a firsthand understanding of the power of immersion experiences, and a genuine passion for bringing these experiences to like-minded students and professionals. Around Cuenca, Rebecca can be spotted running many of its vast trails, enjoying live music, and sipping on delicious mocaccinos.
