Congratulations on your PowerSchool upgrade and on the purchase of Promethean Boards. My one piece of advice... get good training for the teachers who will use them and they will love them. It will change the way they teach... but it will take a year of ongoing training as they get more comfortable, keep them learning to use the whole range of possibilities. John Hendron and Bea Cantor are two great resources if you have any questions about the instructional side. Tom

Patti, your name came up yesterday in a conversation with Jen Bocrie about PowerSchool. She is involved in the support group. We just purchased a new server and will be upgraded this summer. Change is good.

Promethean Boards continue to be our focus. We will complete the high school this summer and have started the elementary initiative. We will have 6 at Bryd, 4 at Goochland Elementary (maybe 5 with another PTA gift) and 3 at Randolph. Our G21 projects were a great success this year. If you follow our web site at all, you may have heard of them.

Hope to connect again soon. Tom

Hi Patti. Hope you're enjoying the winter break. I was wondering if you, your educator contacts or students would be interested in participating in a Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. We'd really like to get Virginia students involved. Please let me know. Thanks!
