Hi Paige!

Hope you're enjoying the winter break. I was wondering if you had any educator contacts who would be interested in participating in a nationwide Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. We'd really like to get more students involved from Connecticutt

You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!

Hi Paige. Thanks for staying in touch. We just submitted a MacArthur Participatory Learning grant proposal. I'm optimistic. Keep your eyes and ears out for any other grant proposals for global studies using participatory learning and social media frameworks and let me know if there are areas we can cooperate. I have a current project where US and Chinese students will collaborate on a documentary film and submit it to the Media That Matters Film Festival in NYC. I could use some more CT high school or university students to participate. There's a chance at a cash prize and a filmmaking award. Can we talk about this?

I'm looking forward to Matt's return. I'm trying to put together a high level state delegation to visit northwest China next October. Is this something we can work on together? I have the World Affairs Council interested in this, as well.

Cheers, and thanks for the support.

Steve
