About Me
Language teacher, teacher trainer, eTwinning ambassador

Background

In short, I'm a very ordinary language teacher turned into something like a networking evangelist:) I believe there is an enormous potential in openness and sharing; it's strange but the more you share, the more you tend to get - that's 'win-win' for sure.

Thanks to the international work at our school - often through EU eTwinning - I've been lucky to meet and work together with colleagues from many different countries. Pretty often I get emails from teachers who would like to establish new contacts in the Nordic area and because I just can't join all these great projects myself I'm happy to promote educational match making whenever I can.

Hey thanks, Niilo.  A big part of the lesson is writing with vivid detail and all of your photos are rich and vibrant.  I'm expecting some quality writing as a result.  Thanks again!

Hello Niilo, Nice photos!  Would you mind if I use some of them in a 4th grade descriptive writing unit I'm planning?   I would download them and show them to the students who would then base their writing on them.  Either way, thanks for sharing them.  I enjoyed viewing them very much.

In 1992 I crossed Finnland by bus (together with some other school teachers) on the way to Sweden. I enjoy looking at your photos, they remind me of my trip.

Good luck to you! You seem to do lots of fun things teaching.

Collaboration through Google Docs

Well, now Docs are going social big time it seems - good news for sure! Threaded comments should add quite a lot of punch to what Docs have to offer.
