I gave a similar workshop to our staff a few years ago. Here is the website I used:
http://www.sd13.org/~ngreene/techdi/
It's several years old so I can't guarantee that the links all work, but it gives you some ideas.
I work in a K-8 district and we're going through the same process. We plan to start by determining what skills our students should have when they leave our district and go on to high school. We are hoping to get a copy of the tech curriculum…
Thanks for sharing this page. Not only did I get some good Movie Maker activities, but I found several great tech ideas to share with teachers as well!
Have you seen Mary Cooch's book "Moodle 1.9 for Teaching 7-14 Year Olds"? It just came out a few months ago. It is well written, easy to understand, and has good ideas for using Moodle with younger students.
Hope you're enjoying the winter break. I was wondering if you, your educator contacts or students would be interested in participating in a Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. We'd really like to get more students involved from Illinois.
You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!
