Excellent idea indeed, yes! I have always taught my students that the perspective of the British on the Revolution would be different - just like the Mexican take on the Mexican War or the way the Native Americans look at the "Indian"…

Greetings Mike. Thanks for stopping by my page. Thirty three years? My hat is off to you. I spent some time working in Indiana years ago it seems. I can't say I know the territory, but I have been there. It was warm and welcoming place. Cheers.

Welcome, Darren! I teach 8th grade US History in Lafayette, Indiana. I bring students to DC every Spring Break. I love it, especially the Smithsonian (American History, of course).

I see. You are on the other side of the river. The west is a tough crowd. I used to do teacher training in southern Indiana in a project called TICKIT; Teacher Institute for Curriculum Development about the Integration of Technology. That was from 1998-2003. Now I am trying to write some books. Like, The World is Open: How Web Technology is Revolutionizing Education. It comes out in a few days.

Hi Mike! Hope you're enjoying the winter break. I was wondering if you, your educator contacts or students would be interested in participating in a Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. We'd really like to get Indiana students involved. Please let me know. Thanks!

Thanks for the welcome, Mike! I loved it at Sunnyside and it would be incredible to get a job there when they go 5/6. You are going to be getting a couple of great colleagues from Sunnyside when they do switch.
