About Me
I'm an un-schooler, non-denominational, environmental activist, political activist, education activist (for reform), and first and foremost, the parent of a very intelligent 12 year old son! I have 2 cats, I love nature, writing, reading a good book or listening to Classical music, jazz, blues, or Classic Rock. I sometimes wish I were born in another country, like Canada, Denmark, Spain, or New Zealand! I want to see the U.S. really unite it's people and move forward into a 'green technology' future...I fear that I won't see that in my lifetime...I would like to see U.S. citizens consider becoming vegetarians (or at least cut down on fast foods/meat consumption) to help their own health as well as the environment. I teach my son to follow 2 basic rules...Safety and Respect! Always keep these two things in mind and you'll have no regrets! :) I also teach him the love of learning.
