About Me: I am an assistant children's library and am beginning an M.L.I.S. /M.Ed. program this fall. I've worked in libraries since I was 17 and volunteered in them from the age of 12. I have a passion for literature, which led me to pursue and complete my M.A. in Literature at the age of 22. I love performing and planning storytimes, especially baby storytimes. I follow both Storytime Katie and Storytime Underground in order to get inspiration for my storytime planning. I am very driven in my work because of how much I truly enjoy it.

When I am not working, studying, or reading picture books, I enjoy reading and spending time with my family. My favorite books include Pride and Prejudice, A Series of Unfortunate Events, and A Wrinkle in Time. My favorite Shakespeare play is Twelfth Night. I prefer reading children's literature to adult fiction. My favorite movies are Sleepless in Seattle, You’ve Got Mail, and French Kiss. Hallmark movies, especially around holidays, are my guilty pleasure. I am very excited for fall to begin. I believe that fall is the most beautiful time of year and I can’t wait to take walks in the Metroparks while the leaves change and to pick apples. Fall is also the time of year that I participate in Hungarian folk dancing for the Grape Harvest Festivals around Cleveland. I have folk danced ever since I could walk, for more than 20 years!

Ten years from now, I see myself working in a school library, inspiring young minds to learn and better themselves. In the more immediate future, I am busy planning my wedding and starting full time hours at my job. I am looking forward to starting my degree and hope to learn a lot both this semester and throughout all my coursework.
