- About Me
- I work with preschool children at this time. I am a very active parent with my son's high school. I volunteer on a few committees and I am currently on the School Site Council and have been on middle school and elementary school councils in the past. I am a current member of the District Advisory Committee, and have been at both the elementary and middle school levels. I have been a parent rep for my children's middle school Comprehensive School Reform Grant and have been a past PTA President as well as served on other school committees
I attend school board meetings when my schedule permits.
I am very interested in the Civil Rights Movement and want to study it in more depth. I feel that the we have a lot to learn from the movement and can apply some of the strategies that were used back them to address some of the many social justice issues that still exist in education today.
