About Me
I have been teaching English in a girls' secondary school since I graduated in 2002. After graduating I did a diploma in Computer Studies Education and have now been teaching computer studies for 5 years. I am currently doing a masters degree in applied language studies at the University of Malta and am focusing on the use of e-learning technologies in language learning. E-learning is a fairly new concept in my country. we are currently half way through a three year plan for implementing an e-learning policy in our schools so it would be interesting to get to know people from other countries who have been integrating technology in the teaching and learning process for a while.
On a personal note, I have been married fro two years and still live in the village I grew up in. When I am not teaching or thinking about teaching, I enjoy reading, meeting up with friends, and long walks by the sea. I am always looking for new challenges. The masters degree is my current challenge. Living on such a small island makes going abroad at least once a year a must.
