Purchasing SmartBoard for my Classroom-Using My Own Funds

If I purchase my own SmartBoard for my classroom and relocate to another school, can I take the SB with me or can the school claim it?

Computer Lab or Technology Resource Jobs--Looking for a New Job

I am desperately seeking a position either as a computer lab teacher or technology resource teacher.  I live in the Washington, DC area, so I am willing to commute to Virginia, Maryland or Washington, DC.  I hope someone in our group will be able to assist me with some job leads.  You can email me privately if you prefer. Thanks so much in advance.See More

Hey Leona,

Our Brainyflix video contest just ended, and I wanted to thank you for helping us get the word out. We got 800 submissions from across the country!

That said, MIT was really happy with the results and will let us run another contest, so we're going for it! But this time, we're gonna have kids create Brainypics flashcards - which are images and sentences paired up with a one of our SAT/ACT words. The contest ends May 22nd, and there'll be iTunes and a cash prize like last time. To boot, we'll double the payout if the kids can hit a certain goal. More details at brainyflix.com/main/contest_rules.

Do you mind telling students and your colleagues again?

Thanks,
Jack

Hi Leona!

Hope you're enjoying the winter break. I was wondering if you have any 2ndary education contacts who would be interested in participating in a nationwide Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. We'd really like to get more students involved from Illinois

You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!

Hey Leona,
Hope you're feeling better these days.
How was week 1?

Things quieted down for me after week 3, but last week it was back to craziness!

And so it goes...

Have a good week ahead!

Paul
