"An elementary technology teacher is needed because their speciality and focus in their career is technology and would benefit the students learning, the teachers learning as well as the functionality of the school's technology. They could fix…"

"This is a hard question to answer because it is hard to do the homework without technology. I would check and see what other technology they have at home and also if their are any centers near their home that they can go use a computer. You could…"

Technology in 1st Grade

With the technology producing so quickly today, I am unsure of what technology 1st graders are able or is appropriate to use. I would like to become a 1st grade teacher because of my experience and my connection with that age. I love the way they absorb information and I want to help them start off with a great experience with school. I am wondering what technology is out there that 1st graders can use. I am only 19, training to become a elementary teacher, but I cannot remember what…See More

iPads for the Classroom

Upon doing research for Ed. Tech. class, I have come to decide that iPads for the classroom would be useful in many ways. It would be very helpful if each child had his/her own iPad but a lot of the time it is not that easy or inexpensive.  If each child is unable to have an iPad, then they would be a great use for centres instead of a main classroom activity. But for the rest of the discussion, I will be referring to iPads as if every child had one. The reason each child would need to have one…See More

"For a Mac, you hold down command shift and #3 or #4 keys. #3 takes a picture of the whole screen whereas #4 lets you take a picture of what you want."
