- I have been a teacher for 10 years. 8 of those years have been in the area of technology. i have taught teachers, and then taught as a specialist on the elementary level. This is my first year teaching middle school, a last minute switch, not be my choice. But.. I am surviving and growin and hoping to continue to grow and help the students grow in their technology skills and ability to use the technology skills they gain across subject areas. I need to learn the new technologies so i can keep their interest and give them 21st century learning skills.
