Labeled Image Activity

StudyStack has a new tool which can help students learn from any picture where you label the parts of the image. This is great for subjects like geography and anatomy. I posted a screencast about this at http://www.studystack.com/videos/greatLakes.swf

New labeled image activity on StudyStack

StudyStack today released a new free tool to help teachers create a web 2.0 activity for their students. The tool allows users to upload images and then label parts of the image. After labels have been added to the image, students can test how well they know where the labels belong. The studystack site will display the image with each label replaced with a target. You only have to register to create a new set of games for your information. So there is no need for your young students to create accounts. Activities can contain foreign text, too. You can even put the flashcards on your cell phone or iPod.
