What a great idea! Our entire school spends the last part of the school year studying every continent in-depth. I'm trying to figure out a way to connect with people on those continents using Skype, but was running into the time zone difference…

Be a Part of a Unique Postcard Exchange

In the past I have been a part of several postcard exchanges and my students loved receiving the cards and information about each state. This past year I tried something new. Hello from North Carolina!

I have a group of 4th and 5th graders this year. The 4th graders will study North Carolina in Social Studies, while the 5th graders will study the United States. I am sure the 4th graders will love leaving some NC facts on your voicethread. Thanks so much for the opportunity!

I see you have a skype account. Maybe there are some other things we can have the kids do using the internet, especially if you have kids close to the same age as mine.

Anyway, we should talk sometime!
