At Utopia has been a great resource for me. In fact, this weekend I've been uploading links to educational games and activities for students to occupy some of their downtime.

Jean, I appreciate your post!  The idea of allowing students to complete quizzes and tests from their electronic devices sounds great!  With this in mind, I look forward to creating quizzes and tests that students can complete over the weekend for extra credit points.  I believe this will allow the students to bridge the gap between home and school.  This alternative assessment tool is another way to break the monotony that comes with general assessments. Thank you for sharing!

I love using Google’s tools and just recently found Google Classroom. It’s a great place to assign tasks, have students collaborate, and even turn in assignments. The website is super easy to use both as an instructor and as a student. Convenience is another great reason I love Google Classroom. It can be accessed from anywhere, just like you mentioned in your post.

I have found that interactive lessons on the SMARTboard can be effective with even the most reluctant learners. It is also very helpful to me with the diverse instructional levels in my room to be able to have students access materials electronically via iPad or desktops. When it's necesssary for me to clear my room for behavioral interventions, students can take iPads with them and the educational process is not totally disrupted.
