About Me
I am Elizabeth Mbasu and I work with and for Kenya Institute of Education the National Curriculum and Research Centre as Assistant Director, particularly in charge of Open & Distance Learning. Am also an instructional Designer and e-tutor and train teachers for capacity building.
I am the Director for EduSols; A new initiative to promote use of classroom 2.0 and Collaborative Technologies in institutions of learning in my community.Pie EduSols serves as a portal where Kenya Educators and Learners converge to learn, share and develop resources for a free and open education curriculum by 2015.
The idea behind Pie EduSols is that education is a common good and that knowledge that is sustainable and scalable grows with reuse. Therefore learning materials should be free and open to all.
