Hi Ekaterina, I did not work out the time difference very well as I see that you are 8 hours difference and not 5 hours difference. So, that will not quite work during our school hours. I will see if I can get some students to come back to school or stay on at school. Does it still suit you to have a go this week? Thursday is no good as I am not at school and Friday is no good, so it would have to be Wednesday which is tomorrow, or wait until next week. I will try and catch you on skype and talk to you. Hope you understand all this.

Hello Ekaterina, We have a small web camera, that we pin up on top of the interactive white board. So,you can see most of the class if the are sitting close together. Then we might take it down so that students can come up close to it, talk to you and you can see them and what they are showing you closer up. Yes, you can record skype. I think we use powergrammo but there are others as well. It might only record the audio. I will find out for you. I have to try and set up my computer room so that I can videoconference in there. Until then I will try and go over to the library.

Hello Ekaterina, In our school we use skype for videoconferencing. We have a computer that is connected to an interactive whiteboard in the library. The students sit around on chairs and watch the conference on the board. If three different users or more are in skype, you cannot use the video, it just becomes chat. So we have one computer, one microphone and one small webcamera and use them to talk to, hear and see you, but your image is projected via a data projector onto the whiteboard or wall.
So, it will be just the same as you using it with one student, except the class becomes the 'one student'. Does that make sense? So, if you have a webcam on a mac, that is fine, but you will need to try and project that onto a wall or board, so that all your students can see at once. Keep in touch and let me know when you are ready to try. I am happy to just try with you first and no students, and then bring the students in the next time. Hope you can understand me.
