We just implemented our first extended advisory at Seckman High School. We asked the teacher/advisors to complete a 2 minute interview icebreaker. Then each student created a portfolio that will stay with thier advisor until graduation. Our next extended advisory activity will use the "Class Meeting" technique. Feedback so far from staff and students has been very positive.

Mr. Grimshaw - here is a post on ways Principal Erin Sheninger used Social Media to connect with students and parents. I really liked the idea of meeting with students to find out what they think about using these tools as a way to open up lines of communication.
