- I returned to school at the age of 41 to become a teacher. I am currently in my 4th year of teaching. My husband did the same and in 2010 took his first position as a Spanish teacher in our hometown school. I have three grown children and two wonderful grandchildren, ages 8 and 6. I live in a rural area in the Thumb of Michigan.
