What would you like to see in the new version of Weebly?

My name is Dan Veltri and I am a co-founder of Weebly.com. I recognize that as a commercial company we have to be careful posting here, but we're really looking for help in understanding what educators' needs are. We know a lot of educators use our product -- for those who do, can you help us to figure out what you need specifically as educators? For those who don’t know about Weebly, we make it easy to create a website/blog, e-portfolio, or…See More

Hi Dan,
I received your email at my school email, in response to my request for support on Weebly, ticket # {176452}. I responded to your email, but I also wanted to try and contact you here, and let you know that the ticket should still be open. My issue has not been resolved.
Thank you,

Erica Roberts

Hi Dan Veltri,

I am an educator in Southern California at a local High School. I recently came across your product thanks to Free Technology for Teacher Blog. Weebly Education has a great start but there are some key elements that it is missing for educators. Last year I used 21classes.com for my blog and assignments. 21classes was very limited in design, which you have done much better, and they also had no way to submit assignments as you do. What I would love to see in Weebly that 21classes does have is a way to conect students to the "main" site which would be mine, that holds all of their assignments directly from the "dashboard" or view that they see when they log into their accounts. Also what I would like to see is for them to have a default site that is already there for them to start posting in which they can design it at a later point. Also I would like a list of all students on the main page so students can easily navigate to other students sites and so I as a teacher can quickly over look accounts and lock accounts down if needed.

Like I said you have a great beginning product and I am getting many of my co-workers to sign up. Actually our Digital Academy, the Director required all teachers to sign up, so that who school runs it. So for us it is important for these add on features that we need to come out so we can continue to spread the great news about your site and implement it within our whole school district.

I thank you for your time and wish you nothing but luck with this wonderful project of yours.

Sincerely,
Ashly Mellor
