Check out zamzar.com where you can paste the link to the youtube video and it'll convert the file into other video formats such as AVI and QuickTime. Once it's in a format that's compatible with your presentation software you'll be all set!
Wikispaces has an excellent user creator. You can upload a spreadsheet or text list of student names and requested usernames. It will create them all at once and link them to your wiki for you. Very handy!
With your interest in Ed Technology, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service.
Hope you're enjoying the winter break. I was wondering if you, your educator contacts or students would be interested in participating in a nationwide Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. We'd really like to get more students involved from Arkansas, though I see you have a podcast so maybe your reach is far greater
You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!
