About Me
I am the special education teacher in a 5th grade collaborative classroom. I'm also a level I certified Professional Ski Instructor through PSIA for people with disabilities. My background in teaching and working with people of all abilities has helped me to understand how important it is to be inclusive of all people in the classroom and the community. I enjoy using technology to provide differentiated instruction to all learners, young and old. Technology is key to engaging and providing our students the skills they need to be lifelong learners. I just graduated with a 2nd Masters Degree in Educational Technology and also received my Assistive Technology Specialist Certificate sponsored by the NYS VESID

Hi Christine,
Yes I have a pretty cool pic don't I!!
It was made about a year ago on a website called PaloozaHead. At the time it was a promotional site for a concert, it allowed you to upload your face, choose clothing and a song with which to dance to - totally hilarious but no longer around. I found it so amusing I took a screen shot of myself dancing and have used it here!! All good for a laugh :)

Hi Christine, Thanks for the welcome. Yes, we do work very close in range, in fact, do you know KarenK? from Searingtown? Please send her my regards. I haven't searched for her on CR2.0 but bet she's here somewhere. I see that you are a SB user. Great! We have a 7th grade SPED instructor who is using Web 2.0 tools in the classroom and loving it. I'd love to find ways to connect our students if possible. KIT PS I am opening up a ning site for us educators in NY to find ways to reach out and make recommendations. Let me know if you are in-ter-ested :)

Blanca :)
