Look for feedback from the homeschool parent associations. What's better than users giving feedback on what worked for them and why or why not! Some examples (of many on the web):  Florida: http://www.fpea.com

Keystone

Hello colleagues. A friend of mine has decided to place his child in a HomeSchooling environment. Have any of you had experience with either the Keystone School online or the k12.com curriculum? I realize this is a bit strange as the majority of us are public school teachers, but I would like to be able to give him an educated answer. I will be working with him to also provide digital instruction. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Check out Tony Vincent. He's a guru on mobile learning devices. He has some really good online videos on how to make the best use of iPads in the classroom.

Dear Nathan, As I vendor of EdTech Goodies, I am constantly searching for new products and applications that I hope to sell and continue to pay rhe rent. I readily and heartily agree that tech for tech's sake, is not an ehancement for learning.…

I have a Nook ( my personal device) and have been using it in class with my reluctant readers and lower readers.  It is a great motivator for them to read and I can buy (on my own dime) high interest books so it eliminates the excuse that the…
