About Me
Welcome to my online portfolio. My name is Cheri Elkins. I am from a small community within the city of Knoxville called Heiskell. I went to Halls High School and graduated from there in 2006.
I am currently the Treasurer and webmaster of the Gamma Rho chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota International Women's Music Fraternity! I also served as the Vice President for Ritual. I am now the President-Elect. Some of my favorite activities are singing, playing the piano, blogging, designing websites, writing poetry and lyrics, cooking, and reading. My interests include sociology, conspiracy theories, and paranormal research.

I am currently in my first senior year at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I am a music education major with a concentration in voice. I am also an elementary music education pre-service teacher. I have done much field experience at places such as Karns Elementary, Cedar Bluff Primary, Halls High School, and Episcopal School of Knoxville. I intend to complete my student teaching semester in Spring 2011 and graduate with a Bachelor of Music Education.
