Charles Skinner is a native of Greensboro, NC. He received a BA from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1972 and a MA in Early Childhood Education from Appalachian State University in 1976. He began teaching in 1976 and has 32 years experience, most of which has been in 4th and 5th grade, although he has taught all elementary grades K-5 along with 9th grade at Camden County High School in Georgia. He has been a workshop presenter at the South Carolina Council of Teachers of mathematics state conference multiple times. Mr. Skinner has been listed in Who's Who Among America's Teachers 5 times. He is also listed in the International Directory of Who's Who. Teaching is one of the three loves of his life, the other two being Jesus Christ and his family, consisting of his wife, two step-sons, 5 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. In his spare time he enjoys reading, gardening, listening to music, making music and singing with the Gospel Echoes, preaching, and being with his wife of 29 years.
