Hi Casey!

Hope you're enjoying the winter break. I was wondering if you, your educator contacts or students would be interested in participating in a nationwide Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university.

You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!

Hi Casey, I am more than happy to test out a skype call. Did I tell you that I am anne.mirtschin. Problem is the time zones but if you see me online, chat first, to make sure I am not in a class where I cannot talk. Our timezone at the minute is gmt+9 (it is usually 10 but we have daylight savings. Anyway, we are Melbourne time). Yes, the broadband connection could be the problem. I have heard of adobe connect but have not used it. I have a virtual classroom software called discoverE connect which is good or I like elluminate. Let me know or catch you onskype.

Hi Casey
I use skype quite a lot both between myself and our boys in London and between my classes with quite a few countries across the world, mainly USA. The sound breaking up is a skpye problem. They keep improving all the time but I know when we skype Korea we often have problems. As to the video issue, does the other end have a web cam? Also did they start the video? They may have to tweak the tools settings and activate the type of web cam that they have. Welcome to classroom20 by the way.
