Hi Anna!
Hope your summer is going well. Back to school soon. I think it might benefit my students that your students are new. I use this in my English class so none of my students are formal poets. This might be a good experience on both of our ends. I usually do a poetry and hip hop lesson in the beginning of the year to break the ice with my students. I would love to do the poetry slam around that time. Probably early October. Is this something you have an interest in?
