"My classroom teaching years were mostly ELA with 7th graders too! I still miss some of the lessons we used to do. I loved teaching poetry and having them write formula poems in the springtime."

About Me
This school year, I was fortunate enough to begin my career as a librarian at Santa Rosa High School in Santa Rosa, Texas. Currently, I am enrolled in the Master of Library Science Program at Sam Houston State University, and I hope to graduate by this summer. Prior to this school year, I taught 7th grade English Language Arts for numerous of years at Jo Nelson Middle School in Santa Rosa, Texas. Thus far, I absolutely love my new position as a librarian.
My husband, Rob, and I have an 8 year old son, Robby. We enjoy reading, traveling, and watching sporting events together. I feel tremendously blessed, and I look forward to learning and networking with everyone in LS 5391.
