I have taught kindergarten for 11 years. With your tech background, you may be interested in a site we built to assist with kindergarten assessment, letter recognition, sounds, sight words, number recognition, etc. You can add your own assessments too. You can check out the 3 min video at http://intro.esgisoftware.com It manages all of the 1-on-1 assessment we do, and helps organize it.
