Teaching Social Media in K-12

Helpful article with examples of teaching social media in the K-12 environment. It's geared towards school librarians but can be used by instructors as well. Enjoy!

About Me
I worked in higher education pre-social media and it’s exciting to see the change and possibility. I am interested in learning more about best practices and experiences of using social media and technology in higher education institutions particularly in the classroom, by admissions and student services staff, and campus marketing departments. I am an independent information professional, social media consultant and trainer. I look forward to connecting with the members of this group.

Hi Africa Hands,

With your interest in Technology, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service.

Here’s a Public Class on Technology Integration you might be interested in.
