About Me: I am a educator and my subject is history, I was born in Dubai and raised in Sharjah both cities of U.A.E. I went to a school with mostly Middle-Eastern, Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi students before my family returned to India when I was 12. My experience with children from different countries was one of the reasons I wanted to know more about my roots, and developed an interest in History. Like most teachers it was by chance that I joined the teaching profession but today I feel I was destined for it and happy for the opportunity to learn every day and be a kid every day of my life :)

We need your HELP! We are seven seventh graders from Bayside Middle School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and we are competing in the national Lexus Eco Challenge sponsored by Scholastic and Lexus. Our goal is to have a world wide “Dark Out Day” and have as many people as possible participate. We currently only have one contact with India. Would you please participate and ask your friends to participate before Friday afternoon!
